Marcus Lehto, the co-creator of Halo and the founding father of Disintegration studio V1 Interactive, has introduced that he has joined EA as a recreation director.
Hey everybody, I’m very excited to announce that I’ve joined @EA as a Recreation Director, constructing a brand new studio within the Seattle space engaged on first-person video games. I can’t wait to share extra about what we’re creating! pic.twitter.com/GnfVFNLSaW

Asserting the position on Twitter, Lehto revealed that he’s constructing a brand new studio within the Seattle space. This new studio will work on “first particular person video games”, though it is not clear if these will likely be unique video games or new entries in current EA sequence (so begin your Titanfall 3 prayers now).
“I am unable to wait to share extra about what we’re creating!” Lehto concluded.
Lehto is greatest recognized for being Bungie’s Inventive Artwork Director, a place he held from 1997 to 2012. Having labored on the unique Halo: Fight Advanced, he is answerable for the creation of Grasp Chief. He went on to work on all of Bungie’s Halo video games. In newer instances, Lehto was the founding father of V1 Interactive, which created RTS/FPS hybrid Disintegration. The sport sadly proved unpopular and critically unsuccessful, and V1 Interactive finally shut down. Hopefully he’ll have higher luck at EA.
